The attached Excel file has Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations data, it has two tabs: User Roles and Role License Summary The User Roles tab includes the following columns: User ID (ID of the user) SecurityRoleIdentifier (programmatic ID of the role) AssignmentMode (whether the role was assigned manually or through automatic role assignment) AssignmentStatus (whether the role assignment is active, we only care about 'Enabled' user role assignments) SecurityRoleName (name of the role) The Role License Summary tab has the following columns: Name (name of the role) AotName (programmatic ID of the role) SkuName (license name) Priority (licenses are arranged in a priority hierarchy, the higher the number the higher the priority in the hierarchy) GroupName (categorizes the licenses into groupings, licenses at the same group level are interchangable when a role requires multiple licenses) Entitled (the number of objects within the role whose requirements are met by the license) - the hierarchy of groupings follows the licenses (Base - Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain Management > Base - Human Resources, Project Operations > blank) NotEntitled (the number of objects within the role whose requirements are NOT met by the license, a value of 0 in this column means all objects within the role are covered by the license) NotRequired (the number of objects within the role that are not required to have a license) Can you help create a waved approach plan for optimizing role licenses / license remediation looking for areas where a role has a low number of objects at the not entitled level where there is a potential of lowering the overall license requirement to a lower priority level (specifically looking for areas where the grouping would lowered to the next level as this lowers the overall price). Also take into the number of users assigned to the role based on the User Roles tab to give us the greatest ROI on our license remediation work. Also include any additional information you think would be useful for us during the remediation process (users assigned the most roles, most assigned roles, etc). Output this data in whatever format you think would be the easiest to digest.
